Care Instructions:

Do not wash this down-filled product. This could affect the quality of your duvet and also encourage the filling to leak out. Dry clean, if necessary. Spot cleaning is most recommended, using cold water and a small amount of mild detergent. Refresh the down inside the duvet by letting it hang outside in the sun for a few hours. Always use a duvet cover for your comforter as this protects it from stains and dirt buildup, keeping it fresher and looking newer for longer.

Wonderful Purchase

I was watching and comparing this product on the internet for weeks before I took the plunge and bought it. Since it was such an expensive purchase, I researched it thoroughly to make sure that it would be money well spent. I am not disappointed. My only criticism of this product is that the duvet does not come with corner ties. The duvet is very full and fluffy. It is very warm but since my bedroom is on the cooler side, this is not a problem.

I purchased my last duvet from Down Under about 11 years ago. It was no where near the quality of this duvet but did do me all that time. I am a life long customer of this store.

AMAZING duvet

I received this as a requested Christmas present for myself. I spent months researching duvet inserts/down comforters because of the expense involved and wanted the best and this was my opportunity to get the best. I narrowed it down to the Hutterite or Glucksberg and went with the Glucksberg because of the gusseted sides. I know Hutterite down is also one of the highest reviewed and someday I may get one of those as well. However, this comforter certainly lived up to my standards and expectations. It has the warmth, loft, quality craftsmanship that I wanted. It is massive! (I got the oversized king) It is like sleeping under a cloud and the customer service I received from Down Under was amazing. It arrived from Canada very quickly and I even received a personal phone call confirming my information etc... I would recommend them and this product to anyone. Be forewarned that there are no duvet ties on it, so you will have to sew your own on if you want those... but it doesn't take away from the rating of the comforter itself. Most amazing duvet & service

This is the second time that I order this down comforter. The first one was for my husband and I’d bed. We loved it! So we got a second for our guest room and our guests have loved it too. Plan to order others in a different size for my other guest room. This is just such an amazing comforter, I always wanted the cushy hotel bed feeling in my bed and this comforter has exceeded my expectations. It is so warm, comfortable and cozy. I love ordering from down under, at first I was a bit skeptical because I had never ordered anything from this company until I bought the first comforter and they by far have the best customer service. Both times that I’ve placed an order they have included a hand written thank you note. I love the personalized touch of this company. Great products and great service. Extra Large, Extra Durable!

Being a big man brings extra necessities like a big bed and big duvets. To fit my big duvets, I required big duvet covers that make its presence durable. But after trying a lot of duvet covers made of Microfiber, I just realized that it was nothing but a marketing term to conceal the fact that it is polyester that started pilling after several washes.
What made me change my mind about duvet covers was the irritation caused by pilled duvet covers. I was missing my deep sleep for so long when I found this combed cotton duvet cover in an extra-large size that was perfect for me.
The bright white color of this duvet cover goes perfectly with my interior and preference. I always looked for something simple. I hate unnecessary stitching here and there, so the duvet cover was something that I was looking for.
Corner ties and tabs made it easier to manage the cover and prevent shifting of the duvet. I just don’t know much about thread count but it felt amazingly comfortable. My wife scolded me for choosing this bright white color but realized her mistake after washing it in the machine. Making her realize the mistake is a great achievement, isn't it?
I then decided to scold the duvet cover a bit but it remained as it was which clearly showed me that the duvet cover is going to last long. I have no interest in shifting to a new cover till it lasts. After using it for several months, it has become part of my sound sleep.
So cozy and comfy, highly breathable, solid white duvet cover gives me the satisfaction I never got before.
