Being a big man brings extra necessities like a big bed and big duvets. To fit my big duvets, I required big duvet covers that make its presence durable. But after trying a lot of duvet covers made of Microfiber, I just realized that it was nothing but a marketing term to conceal the fact that it is polyester that started pilling after several washes.
What made me change my mind about duvet covers was the irritation caused by pilled duvet covers. I was missing my deep sleep for so long when I found this combed cotton duvet cover in an extra-large size that was perfect for me.
The bright white color of this duvet cover goes perfectly with my interior and preference. I always looked for something simple. I hate unnecessary stitching here and there, so the duvet cover was something that I was looking for.
Corner ties and tabs made it easier to manage the cover and prevent shifting of the duvet. I just don’t know much about thread count but it felt amazingly comfortable. My wife scolded me for choosing this bright white color but realized her mistake after washing it in the machine. Making her realize the mistake is a great achievement, isn't it?
I then decided to scold the duvet cover a bit but it remained as it was which clearly showed me that the duvet cover is going to last long. I have no interest in shifting to a new cover till it lasts. After using it for several months, it has become part of my sound sleep.
